Christmas is HERE! (well, nearly). Here at Advent Calendar Online, we count down the days til’ Christmas, but we know that not everyone is singing ‘Deck the Halls’ on the 1st of December.

But don’t worry, we’ve put together some ideas to keep their creative juices flowing right through until Santa visits.

Get your teams together for a Christmas themed office bake-off. From Santa biscuits to a Christmas cake, if you’re feeling adventurous, let the imagination flow and see what treats you end up with. Not only will your employees be enjoying a little bit of fun, but you’ll also be stocked full of treats and snacks for the coming days.
You could also make this event more competitive by introducing scoring cards and a prize for the winner of the best bake.
Secret Santa
A Christmas time staple in the workplace, Secret Santa is the go-to festive feature for a company to fall back on. It can become a boring occasion if members don’t put the effort in, or just opt for an easy grab on the morning of the swap.

Register your business for Christmas Jumper Day which is held by the charity Save The Children every December. By donating £2 to wear a cosy jumper for the day, your employees will be helping children across the world, as well as having a cracker of a day.
Throw on a woolly with your teammates and raise money for a great cause while you're at it.
Decorate A Bauble
Give your team a well-needed break and get the sparkles out to decorate some baubles, which once completed, can take pride of place on the offices Christmas tree.
Set up your desks and print out some designs to attempt, you can keep it simple, or for the creatives of the group opt for some more complex designs. Be sure to cover your desks as this could get messy! Choose some coloured ribbon which matches your brand colours to finish off your decorations and find the perfect branch to hang them up.

A Christmas themed game is sure to brighten up the days of everyone, even the office grinch! Let your employees fill a small part of their day with a quiz, carol themed Pictionary, movie trivia or even charades. A game to break up the working day may even increase productivity as employees have been able to switch off from work for a short period of time and have a bit of fun!

Decorating the office is a staple during the countdown to Christmas, and desks should not be left out. After all, its where employees will spend the majority of their time during the working day, so make it a place that the people of Whoville would be proud of!
